Hi, I'm Cally. An avid animal lover.
Callys Furry Friends began in September 2020 after the loss of my own beloved pooch, Gucci. I wanted to heal, so used the opportunity to also gain hands on experience working with animals, while not feeling like I was working at all. Now, with 4 years experience, I can safely say going self-employed working with animals has been the best decision I have ever made.
I graduated from The University of Birmingham with a 2:1 honors degree in Biological Sciences (Zoology). My specific interest lies in animal behaviour. The future plans for Callys Furry Friends Pet Care is to offer training and behavioural services.
I am studying towards a Masters in Clinical Animal Behaviour with the University of Edinburgh Veterinary School to achieve these goals.
My hobbies and interests include, listening to podcasts and audiobooks, reading, arts and crafts (which particular one depends on the current hyper fixation, haha), watching TV series and films, and gaming.

I hold a firm belief that everything has its place in this world, all animals (even the scary ones) deserve to live comfortably on this planet.
